Designed in China - Earthquake emergency door handle

Earthquakes continue to devastate communities worldwide. Emergency products can be very helpful to victims to protect themselves when disaster strikes and speed up the reconstruction after a catastrophe. The recent earthquake in the Chinese city of Ya’an inspired design research into disaster relief. Two innovative concepts are proposed to assist future eathquake victims. The application of innovations in high tech textiles and wifi inspired an emergency curtain. The NAVIGADOOR uses pre warning seismic capability and developments in GPS and 4G networks to assist and lead victims to safety. Designed in China.

Earthquake smart emergency door handle concept designed in China by Master of Industrial Design student Xu Fang Fang - Melody.
